Overview

hVIVO are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to join the Project Management team. This role is working at home as well at our offices in London E1 and E14 (from mid 2024).

 

Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and is to start as soon as possible.

 

hVIVO conducts human challenge clinical trials. The end goal of our clinical trials is to potentially eradicate common illnesses like the common cold and flu completely – or at least make treatment of them as easy and effective as possible. Volunteers are central to the work that we do. Our studies focus on testing new treatments on real people, in a safe, controlled, clinical environment.

 

The Associate Project Manager is responsible, under direction of a Project Lead, for supporting the delivery of the project to timelines, within budget and to agreed quality standards working closely with their allocated cross-functional team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of projects to scope (project, timelines and quality standards) as agreed in the Clinical Trial Agreement and hVIVO standards;
  • Taking a proactive approach to risk management, support the Project Manager and Project Director in identifying and mitigating risks;
  • Support Project Manager and team to meet client expectations regarding communications and project updates;
  • Comply with regulatory, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ICH Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) and project requirements (e.g. customer SOPs);
  • Actively contribute to the on-going process improvement of the department.

Skills & Experiences

You will have demonstrated experience in project co-ordination or clinical operations experience in clinical trials. 

 

It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent communication skills, can collaborate with the team and across the organisation demonstrating personal accountability and ownership. You should excel in planning, organisation and problem solving and familiar with working in a martrix environment.

 

A Biological Science Degree or equivalent as well as experience with project oversight and risk management are also essential.

 

Candidates with a PhD and thorough knowledge of ICH GCP and working familiarity with UK SI regulations would be desireable.
