Venn’s capabilities and expertise include: CMC, Non-Clinical, Clinical Development, Biometry and Regulatory Affairs.

 

We have dedicated operations in France, the Netherlands and the UK.

 

We are currently seeking a SAS Programmer to join our Data Management team. The position will be based in France (Homebased possible according to profile) and will report to the Head of Data Management.

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • CDISC SDTM data conversion;
  • Data validation checks/protocol deviations SAS programming;
  • Participation to submission documentation (Define.xml, reviewer guide, aCRF) using Pinnacle 21.
  • Working in collaboration with the Statistician and Data Manager to deliver high quality output in accordance with the timelines and budget parameters of the project;
  • Process improvement;

Skills & Experiences

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Data Manager/Statistics or computer programming background (Bachelor's degree or master’s degree).
  • At least 1 to 3 years as a SAS programmer related to database management in a CRO or bio/pharmaceutical setting. Experience in CDISC data conversion is a plus.

 Skills:

  • Results and quality oriented with the ability to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities, managing workloads and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Ability to anticipate potential issues and problems that may arise and proactively identify ways to resolve/mitigate.
  • Ability to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individuals.
  • Team worker with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and form positive relationships at all levels in and outside the company.
  • Demonstrates excellent judgement and decision-making capability.
  • Professional who is experienced and dependable with discretion, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
  • Communication skills including good command of French/ English.
